Autumn in Québec
Méav makes her triumphant return to Québec this September, following a sell-out concert there last year. She is honoured to be performing with the distinguished and innovative Symphony ``Orchestra of Québec. Méav is the sole guest of the 66 member orchestra for two concerts on September 29th and 30th in The Grand Théatre de Québec.
The programme showcases the great classics of Irish music, including a very special set of interlinked songs by Brendan Graham. More information here
Christmas at the NCH
Méav will be performing an intimate Christmas concert at the National Concert Hall, Dublin on December 15th 2010 at 6pm. This early evening concert is the first in a new series showcasing the cream of Irish traditional music entitled Soilse na Nollag – a Traditional Irish Christmas. Méav will be joined by her band for this celebration of festive favourites in the atmospheric Kevin Barry Room. Méav's concert at the National Concert on December 15th is sold out.
Québec Celtic Festival
Méav received a fantastic reception at the Québec Celtic Music Festival in September, with a full house and standing ovations at the Palais Montcalm. The wonderful Canadian choir Les Rhapsodes relished the opportunity to sing with her in Irish Gallic, English and French and she has already been invited back to perform in Québec again – more details to follow. New Christmas TV Special in US and Ireland
This Thursday November 25th, PBS will premiere Orla Fallon’s Celtic Christmas, a TV special which reunites Méav with Orla, her friend and former Celtic Woman colleague. This is the first time they have performed together since their Celtic Woman days. Orla presents this heart-warming collection of Christmas classics with special guests Méav, David Archuleta of American Idol and country singer Mark Wills. Directed by Emmy Award Winner Dennis Rosenblatt, the PBS special will be aired on PBS stations nationwide through December. The companion CD and DVD are available from November 16th nationwide by The Elevation Group. The airing of Orla Fallon's Celtic Christmas TV show featuring Méav on RTE has been moved to Christmas Eve.
The show will also be shown on the Irish Television station RTE 1 on Sunday, December 12th at 4pm.
Méav Carnegie Hall Début
Méav was delighted to make her debut in Carnegie Hall on March 12th March 2010 in a celebration of Irish music. She performed as a lead soloist with the New York Pops Orchestra and was joined onstage by renowned Irish tenor Ronan Tynan, violinist Liz Knowles and uileann piper Keiran O' Hare. The concert was conducted by Steven Reineke in his first season as Musical Director of the Orchestra.
St Patrick's Day concert
Méav is Ronan Tynan's special guest at his concert at the Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo on March 17th. A portion of the concert proceeds will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, which assists youth health and wellness initiatives, specifically those that serve the underprivileged and handicapped.

Disney Calling
Méav’s voice is featured on the new Disney movie, Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure. Her song Where the Sunbeams Play” was written by Emmy award-winning composer Joel McNeely. The soundtrack reunites the talents of Celtic Woman friends and colleagues, as it also features the playing of fiddler Mairéad Nesbitt and the voice of Lisa Kelly. Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure goes on release in the US on October 27th 2009 and the soundtrack CD will be released on September 22nd.

Christmas Eve
Méav premiered a new piece written by Ronan McDonagh for soprano and choir at Midnight Mass in St Teresa's Church, Clarendon St on December 24th 2009. This Mass was televised live across Europe through the European Broadcasting Union. In Ireland, it was broadcast on RTE1.

Four of Méav's songs are featured on this Celtic Angels CD
You brought me up, Newry Boat-song, Morning in Béarra, and The wicked Sister are included in this triple CD collection of female Irish singers.

A New Arrival
Méav is overjoyed to announce the arrival of baby Catherine, an eagerly awaited little sister for Anna.
